City Side Gardens/Beautification
Since our founding in 1977 as Rapid Recovery, when we cleaned up Cleveland’s Rapid Transit tracks, ParkWorks has been committed to urban beautification. The City Side Garden program maintains that core mission by creating green urban oases that welcome residents and visitors.
In addition to the City Side Gardens, ParkWorks also helps to landscape and maintain many of Cleveland’s signature public spaces, including Public Square, The Malls and Star Plaza at Playhouse Square.
Our urban beautification efforts make Cleveland a better place to live, work and visit.
City Side Gardens
City Side Gardens are located throughout Cleveland along highly visible intersections and thoroughfares. ParkWorks currently maintains 19 sites, 15 of which are sponsored by various businesses and community groups.
The City Side Gardens create welcome greenspaces filled with trees, flowers, grass and plants. Our goal is to showcase the investment that so many businesses and community groups are making in Cleveland.
By making Cleveland more visually appealing, sponsors stimulate additional investment in Cleveland’s downtown and neighborhoods. Sponsorship benefits include:
