Building Cleveland by Design
This project-based consulting initiative is led by ParkWorks and Cleveland Public Art. BCbD seeks to deliver the expertise of Cleveland’s design and sustainability nonprofits to physical development taking place throughout the city.
BCbD selected the Flats as a demonstration neighborhood for best practices in urban design and sustainability because of its high-profile location – where the river meets the lake – and because the number of large-scale private and public investments will allow us to influence real projects, including the Flats East Bank and Stonebridge developments, Wendy Park and Canal Basin Park.
Parkworks is thrilled to play a role in revitalizing this waterfront space to make it more livable and attractive to visitors, residents, employers and downtown workers.
