As most of us know, simply planting a school grounds garden does not complete the GROW program cycle. As educators we must not only oversee the planting and tending of our gardens, but also facilitate their use as valuable outdoor classrooms. From places of artistic inspiration to scientific laboratories, our gardens never cease to provide hours of educational and enjoyable activity for children and adults of all ages.

In order to aid you in obtaining your gardens full educational potential, we have begun collecting and posting a variety of lesson plans for elementary and middle school grades. In order for the educational component of the GROW program to expand we greatly appreciate any lesson plans you or your peers chose to share.
